Kevin V. Earley, CFA

Kevin has served as Lead Portfolio Manager of the Balanced Fund since April 2018, and previously served as co-manager of the fund since 2015. In his role, Kevin conducts research and financial analysis on a variety of companies. He also monitors market conditions, economic trends in the country, and issues and trends affecting the Upper Midwest. He is responsible for implementing our investment strategy to meet agreed upon investment objectives, and frequently interacts with clients and answers questions about the strategies.

Kevin began his investment career as an Equity Research Analyst with FAF Advisors, later becoming a Portfolio Manager as part of that firm's Mid- and Large-Cap Value Investments team. Before joining Mairs & Power, Kevin co-managed two mutual funds at Nuveen Asset Management.

He earned a BS in Finance from Santa Clara University and then earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. Kevin is a CFA charterholder, as well as a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.

Kevin is a board member for the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, which promotes the social welfare of people located in the greater Saint Paul metropolitan area.  

Kevin enjoys traveling with his wife, Catherine, to spend time with their four adult sons who live all over the country. When not traveling, Kevin enjoys playing golf and basketball and following our local Minnesota sports teams.
